Dan Ricker was coaching through Howard County Parks and Rec where he built a great group of young wrestlers and grew his team big enough to practice at two of the Howard County High Schools.  After a few years of trying to build teams but continued to close and shut the schools down for various reasons, he decided to branch out and start his own club.

Coach Ricker went home and cut down trees where he leveled the ground and erected a barn that would be the home of the Warhawks.  

The Warhawks have continued to grow and develop some of the best wrestlers in Maryland and the Country.
